There's a review of 'Redback' up on Horrorscope at the moment. It had this to say about 'Last Bulkhead':

Last Bulkead by Susan Wardle is the last story in the issue and this one really creeped me out. I don't like cramped, dark spaces at the best of times. Especially not when they're populated by women like this! Susan Wardle has injected quite a lot of understated violence and menace here and it works to great effect.

Also got a request for a rewrite on a story I'd subbed. The feedback from the editor points out areas he thinks are weak. Places in which I tell not show and where my characterisation and description lets me down. I've not had the opportunity for a re-write before, having received rejections or acceptances, so I'm looking forward to applying myself to the request.

The new story I'm working on for next Thorbies is coming together but needs that ineffable 'more'. Looks like I'm going to be a busy little camper over coming evenings.
