It's almost two years since I attended Clarion - so I thought I'd give some statistics.
Prior to attending Clarion I had 5 stories published. 3 of these as unpaid, 2 paid*.
*I'm counting a story I'd written and subbed but that wasn't accepted till after Clarion.
Post Clarion I've had 7 stories published. Of the stories I've had accepted - to date I've only sold one of my Clarion stories (although I have been aiming at better paid markets to those previously). Of those 7 stories 3 were unpaid, 4 paid.
I've also written a 55,000 word Young Adult manuscript.
Clarion's definately improved the writing but the submission, rejection, acceptance treadmill is still a slow one!
